- Aldnoah.Zero is a Japanese action mecha animated TV series set in 1972, where an ancient technology was discovered that allowed humans to travel between planets in the solar system. As soon as they inhabited Mars, a new colony named the Vers Empire was established and thus began the long lasting armed conflict between the Vers Empire and the Earth.
