‘Aldwych Farces’ is a British now-legendary series of twelve stage comedies or farces, written by Ben Travers (all except three) and performed by actors Tom Walls and Ralph Lynn, with supporting cast consisting of Mary Brough, Robertson Hare, Winifred Shotter, Ethel Coleridge and Gordon James. The plays revolve around phony aristocrats and silly husbands and wives with their misunderstandings, as they try to live normal lives in turbulent times.
