On the evening of April 10, 1996, 400 lucky people witnessed the public re-emergence of Alice In Chains on the MTV Unplugged stage in New York. This is the band's first performance after a three year hiatus from the stage. The band proved again that they are one of the greatest performing bands in music today. The 13 song set highlights material from the band's albums 'Dirt' and 'Alice In Chains', and the EPs 'Sap' and 'Jar Of Flies'. The band's acoustically based EPs provide a number of great songs that come to life on this DVD, including 'Brother' and 'Got Me Wrong', 'No Excuses' and the plaintive 'Nutshell' from 'Jar Of Flies'.
