Synopsis:
As Darrowby prepares for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, our three favourite veterinarians have many trials to deal with, all of which would hamper any celebration. Not least Mrs Donovan dispensing her home-spun animal remedies to sheep, piglets, dogs and tortoises all over the district. Then there's Mrs Pettinger's hitch-hiking kitten, and Mr Grimsdale's Bull, with its appetite for metal objects. And back at Skeldale House we also welcome two new residents; one very welcome - in the form Mrs Alton, the new housekeeper, and one decidedly not - in the form of the rather tricky Tricky Woo.
