- Raised in Smokey Card rooms by her poker-playing father (Michael Madsen), Alicia 'Ace' Anderson (Dominique Swain) leaves the world of back-street gambling behind her to enroll at medical school. But with mounting debts Alicia has few options but to return to the casino. But this time she recruits a crack team of fellow students, all highly trained in the art of betting and bluffing. Together they have only one thing in mind - to take on the world's greatest players and bring down the house. Also featuring 'World series of poker' winners Eric Seidel and John Juanda.
