- Synopsis:
- This is the story of a seemingly quiet family living in a small village in southern Iran. But suddenly Hibat (Kheiron), the father, is involved in tense political affairs and ends up with his feet in jail for defending his ideals, contrary to the regime. After his imprisonment he decides to flee with his wife, Fereshteh (Leïla Bekhti), and his son Kheiron to France in search of opportunities and a good life. The story of two young people with irreducible optimism who start a journey that will change the life of the whole family forever.
