Synopsis:
This release captures the blues rockers at two concerts during the nineties. The first was recorded at Woodstock II in 1994, while the second stems from 1990 and was recorded at the National Video Center in New York. The originators of blues and soul-drenched, heavy Southern rock have a distinctive sound, due to the powerful rhythm section which features two drummers and a percussionist, the dual lead guitars of Dickey Betts and Warren Haynes and the Hammond organ and soulful voice of leader, Greg Allman.
