Carol Salter writes and directs this British documentary which follows 17-year-old Ying Ling as she trains to be a mortician in the Chinese province of Hunan. Following Ying as she moves to the city to take up her new role, the film charts her progress as she does her best to fit in with her colleagues, learn the skills she needs to be successful and adapt to her new life away from her family.
