- Synopsis:
- This highly entertaining comedy is about a man with a problem everyone wishes they had. Grant is an Englishman who inherits a fortune, but he continues to be morose and unhappy. Set in a Depression-plagued England, it depicts Grant's struggle in his effort to prove that it's brains, not bucks, that makes the difference. Grant, who has never had to toil a moment in his wastrel existence, bets a bundle that he can earn his own way for one year and never touch the cash that has been willed to him.
