The Air Force Story is a collection of wartime features produced by the US Air Force. Designed to inform and inspire an audience of wartime viewers, these seven short films tell the history of the USAF, from its beginnings right on through the war years.
The Great Generals Series showcases the biographies of America's legendary wartime generals. The lives of General George S. Patton, General Dwight D. Eisenhower, General George Marshall and others are documented in these programmes that chronicle their humble beginnings right through to their most famous accomplishments.
Hollywood Goes to War tells of Tinseltown's role in dispersing information and shaping the beliefs of the American public. The War Activities Committee of the Motion Picture Industry, along with the Office of War Information's Bureau of Motion Pictures produced several propaganda films designed to educate America's wartime audience. Many of the films were narrated by the era's biggest stars, like Clark Gable and Henry Fonda. This collection features 15 of these productions, including 'You, Johnny Jones!', 'Hollywood Victory Caravan' and 'Freedom Comes High'.
