American Special Forces: At War with the Viet Cong (2009)

Two documentaries about the role the American Special Forces played in the Vietnam War. The first programme examines how the Special Forces worked with the people of Vietnamese towns and villages assisting them and giving them combat training and providing education. The second programme is presented by John Wayne and tells the story of how people of South Vietnam tried to adapt to life and rebuild their country with the support of the Special Forces, while the war raged, bringing death and destruction.
