Synopsis:
Documentary examining allied attempts to combat German U-boat attacks on shipping convoys during World War II. It is little exaggeration to say that Britain's future depended upon the transport of goods and materials across the Atlantic while at war with Germany. However,a new tactic that saw German U-boats attack shipping convoys en-masse - known as 'wolf pack' assaults - posed a grave threat to the transport of goods. This documentary tells the story of the wolf pack attacks in the Atlantic and the methods the allies developed to counter them.
