- Synopsis:
- Andy Capp, the flat-capped cartoon-strip legend, became a television star as James Bolam brought the loveable Northern layabout to life in this hilarious Thames sitcom. With Bolam in the title role, fag an all, the series also brings to life Flo (Paula Tilbrook), Andy's long-suffering wife, Jack (John Arthur) the landlord, Percy (Keith Marsh) the rent collector, and the rest of the gang from the pages of the 'Daily Mirror'.
