The inspirational combining of traditional folk tunes from around the world with classical music, and self-penned sensual poetry or the works of his favored poets from the Russian poet Esenin to the Irish poet William Butler Yeats with a corresponding musical poetry, Angelo Branduardi, a trained violinist, has created a distinctive individual and personal style that has seen him enjoy a long and successful career throughout Europe.
This recorded performance was made following the international success of his first Polydor albums, Highdown Fair ('Alla fiera dell'est') and highlights Angelo's charismatic stagecraft and the pure emotional power of his music.
