Rent Anhonee (1952)

Truth, it has been said, is stranger than fiction, and what is generally regarded as "Impossible" (Anhonee) may be only a paradoxical twist of destiny. Such was the "Impossible" story of Roop and Mohini two girls who had inherited their identical looks from the same father but who were as poles apart in their upbringing outlooks and character, and Raj, the young lawyer whose life became the most puzzling of all cases because both Roop and Mohini loved him. Roop became Mohini, and Mohini became Roop. The impossible was made possible and Raj married Mohini imagining she was Roop. But the "Impossible" can become "Possible" only temporarily, when the truth came out, it led to shattering climax.
