Documentary telling the story of a unique family living in Botswana's Okavango Delta - the Abu family, consisting of people and elephants that have been orphaned from culling operations or rescued from zoos and circuses around the world. Randall Jay Moore is the inspiration behind it all,and the man who has made it his life's mission to bring the elephants back home to Africa. It is his dream that they will once again return to life in the wild. In the meantime Randall trains the elephants to carry tourists through Botswana's Okavango Delta. This way the elephants earn their keep, and are slowly reintroduced to their natural habitat. The drama shifts up a gear when, for the very first time,a young cow in the captive herd yields a newborn calf - but survival in the African bush is never assured.
