Animal Nation: The Chemistry of War

Chemical warfare is everywhere attack and defence measure and countermeasure. This is the story of an evolutionary arms race and of the tactics and strategies deployed in the natural world to fulfil life s basic function survival. Some chemical weapons are brightly advertised and used as a deterrent in order to protect their owner, while others are lethal payloads contained in uniquely tailored delivery systems designed purely for killing. With every advance in military hardware comes stronger, more cunning defences against the new weapons and, as with any war, there are no winners or losers...just survivors.
