Animal Nation: Tigers Fighting Back (2007)

Follow the work of three conservationists fighting to save the tiger from extinction. Over the last century tiger numbers have plummeted by 95%. But despite these statistics, the Wildlife Conservation Society is optimistic that not only can the world's biggest cat be saved from extinction, but that it can thrive. We journey with three conservationists who believe that by understanding how tigers live, what they eat, and what habitats they prefer, we can ensure they remain in Asia's forests. They feed their information back to allied forces working to stamp out poaching, working in partnership to ensure that tigers be allowed to live their secretive, elusive lives in peace.
