- Anne Williams (Maxine Peake) lost her 15 year-old-son Kevin (Campbell Wallace) in the Hillsborough Disaster, one of 97 fans who lost their lives at the 1989 FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest. Anne Williams refused to believe the verdict of accidental death and was determined to discover the truth of what happened to her son. Over the next 24 years, Anne tracked down witnesses, sought medical advice, enlisted political support and campaigned tirelessly tor new inquests tor Kevin and the other victims. This is the story of one mothers quest for truth and justice.

Maxine Peake brilliant as always - Anne review by PH
Heart wrenching portrayal of one of the mother's of the children killed at Hillsborough and the cover up by the authorities. I wept a few times and it was an emotional rollercoaster with some heart warming moments. Great acting. "Justice for the 96" (97 now).
