- Too much of a good thing can be bad for you and when soap star/playboy John Ripley (Bruce Greenwood) met Jackie (Vanessa Angel), a beautiful cover girl, he can't stop his old habits of jumping from bed to bed. He is caught in a compromising position and loses all he holds dear, in particular Jackie. John realises she was the best thing he ever had and starts back on the long road to recover his fame, fortune and most of all Jackie.
