- Synopsis:
- In 1944 three Italian prisoners of war are sent to a remote Scottish village, where they are put to work on the land, ignored and reviled by the locals. Eventually, the wife (Phyllis Logan) of a local cattleman shows the men some compassion, and a tentative friendship develops.
