Another Time, Another Place showcases Oscar-winner Sean Connery in one of his earliest leading roles, in which he displays the commanding presence and suave charm that became his hallmark in countless later films, from the James Bond series to The Hunt For Red October and beyond. Connery plays Mark Trevor, a World War II newsman with the British Broadcasting Corporation who's torn between two women. Glamorous Lana Turner is Sara Scott, the American reporter working in England whom Connery falls for. The two embark on a whirlwind romance - but it's an affair destined for tragedy. Glynis Johns portrays Connery's devoted wife, Kay, and when a sudden twist of fate brings the two women together is a small Cornish village, it's an emotional, climactic confrontation for all involved.
