- Aquarion is a Japanese anime series in which mankind’s future is threatened by the return of "Shadow Angels," an immortal race who drain human’s of their vital energy. With Earth’s only hope lying in the discovery of technologically advanced fighter planes left behind from a previous war with the Shadow Angels the few pilots gifted enough to man the planes are precious and celebrated.
