Welcome to Grace Brothers, an ailing department store where the management are beginning to show signs of wear and the staff are clashing! The complete eighth series finds Grace Brothers' staff - Mr. Humphries, Mrs. Slocombe, Miss Brahms, Captain Peacock, Mr Rumbold and newcomers Mr Bert and Mr Grossman - up for more mischief, more hilarity and more hair colours!
1. Is it Catching?
When the staff contract a strange tropical illness, Marine's Disease, from Mr. Humphries, they are quarantined in the basement.
2. A Personal ProblemCaptain Peacock's wife starts work at Grace Brothers as Mr. Rumbold's secretary. Could she really be having an affair with her boss?
3. Front Page Story
Mr. Humphries becomes editor of the new staff magazine, but his stories manage to upset the staff on the first floor.
4. Sit Out
Threatened with a pay cut or being moved to the bargain basement, the staff go on strike and stage a protest on the roof.
5. Heir Apparent
Could Mr. Humphries be old Mr. Grace's long lost son and heir? Only his mother has the answer.
6. Closet Circuit
Miss Brahms is the face of Grace Brothers' closed circuit television - but it's not her face that attracts a wealthy suitor.
7. The Erotic Dreams of Mrs. Slocombe
When Mrs. Slocombe has dreams in which she and Mr. Humphries become romantically embroiled, she attempts to turn fantasy into reality.
