Rochel, an Orthodox Jew, and Nasira a Muslim woman, meet as first-year teachers at a Brooklyn public school. Over the course of a year they learn to see past their superficial differences and form a unique bond over their shared experiences of the ups and downs of arranged marriage. A funny, moving and insightful tale of love and friendship blossoming in the most unlikely of places, Arranged delicately reveals how individual relationships can transcend age-old divisions, and shows that in the search for love, true friends know best.
