Documentary about Russian avant-garde art collector George Costakis and the painters whose works feature in his vast collection. Director Barrie Gavin investigates the reasons behind Costakis's obsession with artists including Wassily Kandinsky, El Lissitzky and Alexander Rodchenko and takes a look at how he managed to protect them through the political disorder in Russia that saw many works of art destroyed.
