Rent As Time Goes By (1992 - 2005)

British sitcom about two lovers who meet in the 50s but lose touch only to reconnect almost 40 years later. The show followed Jean Pargetter (Judi Dench) and Lionel Hardcastle (Geoffrey Palmer) who begin to rekindle their relationship after so many years apart when they reconnect. Their relationship is often complicated by Jean’s adult daughter Judith (Moira Brooker) whose view of love is an incredibly cynical one. The show follows the two through their new relationship but also discusses their lives prior and everything that happened since they last met.
