- Synopsis:
- Ashes to Ashes is a UK drama that stars Keeley Hawes and Philip Glenister and is a spin-off of the popular crime drama Life on Mars. The show follows Detective Inspector Alex Drake (Hawes), a London police officer who is shot in present day London and transported back in time to 1981 where she must discover how she got there but must also find a way to fit in working for Gene Hunt (Glenister) a rule breaking police officer in charge of the police department she has been mysteriously assigned to.
