In the final months of 1945, as the war drew a close, Allied naval forces expanded in the South West Pacific, triggering a series of sustained and devastating aerial attacks on Allied ships from the Japanese military. In a last ditch effort to defend the Empire, an elite air force unit named Special Attack Corps was formed with the sole mission to storm unsuspecting Allied carriers and ships from the skies, with catastrophic results. As the death toll soared to several thousand, this tale brings to life the ultimate sacrifice of the Kamikaze pilot, whose motto was "I'll go die for you".
