- Synopsis:
- The first starring vehicle for Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis finds the pair as new recruits into the American army, Martin as 1st Sgt Vic Puccinelli and Lewis as Private First Class Alvin Korwin. Their characters are as far removed as their ranks; Puccinelly is a self assured romeo whilst Korwin can't get a thing right, including operating a Coke machine. Despite this, Puccinelli enlists Korwin's help when he has some girl trouble.

Comedy Duo - At War with the Army review by NO
This was the 3rd Film of Martin & Lewis & cemented their act on the screen.Although I laughed at their first film back in the fifties,I found this dated & not at all humorous.
It was obviously from a stage play as apart from the nightclub scene all the action is in the offices of HQ.Lewis tends to overact the fool whilst Martin croons a couple of
humdrum songs.Poor.
