Stan and Ollie inherit a South Sea island from Stan s late uncle and journey to the island in the company of a stateless chef and a stowaway. They are shipwrecked on route and end up on another island, later to be christened Atoll K. This island is found to be rich in uranium and, in an effort to prevent the super powers squabbling over this rich paradise, declare it Crusoe Land and elect Ollie as President. Ollie is soon thrown out of office and is set to be hanged, along with Stan. Unfortunately (or fortunately for Stan and Ollie), a storm sends Atoll K sinking into the sea and the boys eventually find their island, where all of their possessions are claimed by the taxman.
