Originally formed in 1969 by Vincent Crane, Atomic Rooster were one of the great keyboard driven bands of the time. Numerous line ups of the band, featuring such luminaries as Carl Palmer, built a solid platform of popularity before Atomic Rooster finally found success in 1971 with 'Tomorrow Night' and 'The Devil's Answer'. This rare footage from 1972 features ex-Colosseum vocalist Chris Farlowe and still has a fantastic intensity in its performance.
With such a wide selection of sound sources covering 35 years inevitably not every recording will live up to today's exacting standards and some recordings will show the limitations of the available technology at the time.
