- Avatar: The Last Airbender is a Japanese animated series about a young boy with the ability to control the elements and his quest to stop a war that has been raging for over 100 years. The series follows twelve year old Aang, a boy who was trapped in a glacier for over a century and wakes up to discover a world in conflict and he proves to be one of the few people capable of bringing it to an end, something the minions of the fire elements want to stop him from doing at all costs.
