Aviation at War: P47 Thunderbolt at War (2005)

Republic P-47 Thunderbolt - the seven ton Milk Jug. A mighty mean machine, originally designed for high level interception, but just as deadly as a ground attack aircraft, or in a bomber escort role. Both the two action packed films on this video clearly demonstrate the point: Ramrod To Emden - P-47's with the 8th Air Force bombers over Germany - and Thunderbolt - William Wyler's classic action colour documentary of the Italian campaign.
