The Canadian Warplane Heritage Avro Lancaster FM213 made a historic visit to the UK in 2014 and brought into sharp focus the sacrifice of Bomber Command aircrews in World War 2 when nearly half were killed. She flew with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster, Spitfires and Hurricanes on several occasions but the highlights of the tour were overflying East Kirkby with Lancaster NX611 taxying underneath and the emotional event at Lincoln when the Lancasters flew with the iconic Avro Vulcan. They overflew the Turf Cutting Ceremony for the new International Bomber Command Centre.Part 1 A 'Made for TV' documentary featuring the 3 Lancasters and Vulcan and their role commemorating Bomber Command both in war and the post-war nuclear deterrent. Part 2 A longer look at each of the aircraft displaying at several events, simply cut and often without added narration. Also, longer coverage at the 2 key events shown in Part 1 plus a re-enactment of a WW2 bomber crew briefing.
