- Synopsis:
- Turkish historical drama. In 1950, Turkish troops are sent to South Korea to fight in the Korean War. Among them is Sergeant Süleyman (Ismail Hacioglu/Çetin Tekindor) who stumbles upon a helpless little girl and decides to risk his life to save hers by bringing her back to the safety of his army base. He names her Ayla (Kim Seol/Kyung-jin Lee) and, although unable to communicate, the pair forms a close bond that is tested when the conflict draws to a close.
