- When an young American tourist, Archer (Frank Whaley) meets Lena (Natalya Negoda) a mysterious beauty with an attitude his Russian adventure descends into chaos. Clouded by his feelings, Archer does not realise she has stolen a priceless work of art, and as events spin out of control, the tourist finds himself without a passport, accused of murder, hunted by police, and pursued by Kurilov (Roman Polanski) a ruthless smuggler.
