Rent Backs to the Land (1977 - 1978)

Backs to the Land is a British comedy series about three women who move to a farm during the 2nd world war to help with the war effort. The series follows Daphne (Marilyn Galsworthy), Jenny (Terese Stevens) and Shirley (Phillipa Howell) as they move to Crabtree Farm to work the land with the family working there. The three find themselves in new territory and must get used to the new surroundings as they are put to work, something they have no problem complaining and arguing about.
