Fall in ...for fun and frolics down on the farm with the glamorous girls of Britain's Land Army! When Farmer Whitlow's (John Stratton) two strapping lads are called up to serve in the Army, Crabtree Farm is in dire need of farm hands to do the milking and the mucking! To help save the farm, the Ministry sends three enthusiastic young Land Girls - Ditzy, dizzy debutante Daphne (Marilyn Galsworthy), level headed Shirley (Philippa Howell) and rough n' ready Cockney Jenny (Terese Stevens) to fill in for the men folk. Farmer Whitlow is less than impressed - and the girls are soon stirring up life in the quiet Norfolk village, turning all the young men's heads, making enemies of the local girls and discovering all the dodges they can to make farm life a little easier! And when Roy and Eric Whitlow (David and Michael Troughton) return from the beaches of Dunkirk, it looks like love could be in the air at Crabtree Farm!
