Backslide (2003)

The 17-year-old student Stan (Egbert Jan Weeber) befriends the 3 year-older petty criminal, Maikel (Tygo Gernandt). When the boys accidentally kill their victim during a raid, they inadvertently create a real impression with the head of the local drug mafia. Through their shared experiences, their friendship becomes even closer. Only Anna (Angela Schijf), Maikel’s girlfriend, poses a problem. Stan’s feelings towards her grow more than he would like, but he still manages to keep her at bay. Stan is forced to choose between Maikel and the terrified Anna. It’s an impossible choice.
