- Synopsis:
Web designer Steve (Jack Dee) and his wife Nicky (Kerry Godliman) move from Leeds to the Yorkshire countryside. Problems getting connected to the internet, quirky locals and an annoying father-in-law turn their dream move into a nightmare...Nicky and Steve finally invite all of their friends from Leeds over for a belated housewarming party. Ultimately it looks like most of their guests won't be coming, but news of the party spreads through the village...Steve and Nicky's children can't come for Christmas this year so they decide to give it a miss. They invite Meena (Manjinder Virk), Matt (Miles Jupp), Alice (Thelma Ruby) and Ken (Philip Jackson) for Christmas eve drinks. They all get drunk and snowed in and have to stay the night. Grizzo (Seann Walsh) comes to the rescue the next day with food, presents and a glitter cannon, which he later regrets bringing... - Actors:
