In the government quarters of Lodi Colony, New Delhi lives the Kaushik family: Railway TC Jeetendra (Gajraj Rao); his dutiful wife, Priyamvada (Neena Gupta); his physically ailing but feisty mother; and the two sons - a teenage Gular (Shardul Rana), and Nakul (Ayushmann Khurrana), who is dating his upper-class office colleague Renee (Sanya Malhotra). News breaks out that the mother is pregnant, which comes like a shock to the entire family. To top it, they also have to deal with the social embarrassment - friends, relatives, neighbours, everyone's gaze is now turned towards the Kaushik household. What follows is a phase of resentment and emotional confusion for Nakul as he also goes through ups-and-downs in his relationship. Torn between public embarrassment and love for his family, especially his mother, he tries to come to terms with the idea of his parents' active sex life and the idea of family itself. - Actors:
