- 'Banana' offers an intriguing and often outrageous peek into the individual lives, loves and losses of a range of characters who are glimpsed in Cucumber. Including young lesbian Scotty as she pursues an unrequited love; 19 year old Dean who has mysterious family secrets and Sian as she struggles to choose between lover Violet and her over-protective mum Vanessa. Each of the eight individual stories are charming, witty and at times, heart-breaking, as they follow the lives of a wide variety of characters, be they qay, lesbian, transgender or anything in between.
