In the autumn of 1388, on the eve of the Kosovo battles, the robbers gangs march along the southern border of the Serbian Empire. Banovic Strahinja (Franco Nero) comes to Abdulah (Rade Serbedzija) mascot disguised as a beggar. The next day, in the absence of Strahinja, in search of gold possession attacked Turkish ally Alija (Dragan Nikolic) with their group and rape and kill the subjects, while Strahinjina's beautiful wife Andja (Sanja Vejnovic) takes away. When Strahinja returns to a desolate home and does not find her beloved Andja but her dress, she goes to her father in Tazbina, Prince Bogdan (Gert Fröbe) for help. But Bogdan instead of helping Strahinja, offer his youngest daughter. Disappointed and determined to return his Andja, Strahinja goes to search... - Actors:
