- Banshee is an American action, drama, and crime thriller television series. The series is engaging and entertaining, following Antony Starr, who plays an ex-con that takes the identity of the town of Banshee’s murdered sheriff. With his new power comes the opportunity to hide from his enemies, and try to reconcile with his former lover - who also happens to be the daughter of his main enemy. The line between good and bad blurs, and the grey areas grow more as the series progresses.
