"Born Survivor: Bear Grylls" follows British mountaineer and adventurer Bear Grylls into some of the world's most inhospitable places. Equipped with little more than the clothes on his back, Bear reveals the fundamental skills needed to survive and get out alive as he attempts to find his way back to civilisation! Follow Bear as he parachutes into crocodile and shark infested waters to tackle the deadly mangroves of Panama. Using vines, he drops into the notorious Camino Real viper pits where he faces one of his biggest fears in this deadly pitch-black cavern. With no food or water he has to use what he can find for nourishment and it is the local wildlife he turns to, including longhorn beetles and crab. The searing heat and humidity of the Panama jungle continue to test Bear's courage and survival instincts to the limit as he forages for food while tackling towering waterfalls and dangerous mudslides in order to progress through extremely harsh terrain. Terffiites and vine snake are on the menu and he catches supper with a bow an arrow, using skills picked up from the Emberra tribe. Bear also explains the importance of concealing yourself. In a country rife with kidnappers, surviving can mean not being found and Bear shows how to dodge trackers in order to stay safe.
