A trio of guitar legends take the stage in Japan, 1986. First up is Santana, the line-up including ex Hendrix Band of Gypsies vocalist Buddy Miles and with Steve Lukather (Toto) guesting. Lukather then also joins Beck and his band for a few numbers before all three guitarists send a vast crowd wild with the ten-minute Superboogie, followed by the classics People Get Ready and Johnny B Good(e). The concert was professionally shot with multiple cameras and then edited down to about an hour for airing on Japanese television. The 12-song set provides an all too brief snapshot of what must have been a mind blowing concert featuring three of the world s greatest guitarists all sharing the same stage. - Studio:
