- Inspired by the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, November 9th, 2009, "Behind the Wall", documents life on both sides of the Berlin Wall through the eyes of ordinary citizens as well as several famous political figures from the former East Berlin, giving an in-depth and much overlooked perspective of life before, during and after the Berlin Wall fell. "Behind the Wall" explodes some myths and gives a special, intimate, personal view of life in both Berlins during those crucial historic years.
