“Bengali Beauty” is the story of two individuals yearning for freedom. Moyna (Mumtaheena Toya) is a medical student. Afzal (Rahsaan Noor) is a radio deejay. She goes through life as the dutiful daughter. He plays popular American music on the radio. The first time Moyna hears Afzal’s voice over the radio is glorious.
