Synopsis:
Documentary film by Tony Palmer which captures British composer Benjamin Britten overseeing the recording of his work 'The Burning Fiery Furnace' at St. Bartholomew's Orford Church. The cast includes Britten's life partner Peter Pears as Nebuchadnezzar, Bryan Drake as The Astrologer and John Shirley-Quirk, Robert Tear and Victor Godfrey as the three Israelites cast into the furnace.
